The 2026 Robert B. Glassman Memorial Brain, Mind, and Behavior Symposium brought together the Forester community for two days of exploration into the science of the brain and the art of human expression.

From alumni-led talks to student research posters, the Fourteenth Annual Robert B. Glassman Memorial Brain, Mind, and Behavior Symposium highlighted the strength of Lake Forest College’s neuroscience program and collaborative academic community.

Alongside research presentations, attendees enjoyed a creative installation inspired by memory and how important it is to the structure of our social systems. The art installation served as a dedication to the people who suffer from neurogenerative diseases and their families. It was designed and installed by students in the Art Installation course in partnership with Nu Rho Psi, the College’s neuroscience honor society.
