Auditing MLS seminars

  • Community members may register to audit an MLS seminar so long as there is space in the class.
  • MLS auditors attend classes and participate in discussions, but do not write assigned papers.
  • Auditors do not earn academic credit, but the course will be listed on the auditor’s official transcripts with an AU designation upon completion of the audited course.
  • Tuition for auditing an MLS seminar is $735 per seminar.

Option for MLS auditors to transition into the MLS program

  • Students who successfully audit four MLS seminars will be granted one graduate credit.
  • Graduate credits may be counted toward the eight credits needed for the Master of Liberal Studies degree.
