Auditing MLS seminars
- Community members may register to audit an MLS seminar so long as there is space in the class.
- MLS auditors attend classes and participate in discussions, but do not write assigned papers.
- Auditors do not earn academic credit, but the course will be listed on the auditor’s official transcripts with an AU designation upon completion of the audited course.
- Tuition for auditing an MLS seminar is $735 per seminar.
Option for MLS auditors to transition into the MLS program
- Students who successfully audit four MLS seminars will be granted one graduate credit.
- Graduate credits may be counted toward the eight credits needed for the Master of Liberal Studies degree.

- NOTE: Only community members who have completed a bachelor’s degree are eligible to audit MLS seminars.
- To apply to audit the current MLS seminar, please complete Lake Forest College’s Non-Degree Audit Application form.
