What is the College doing?
Lake Forest College has partnered with a digital accessibility company which provides tools to scan courses on Canvas for accessibility issues. The software integrates directly into Canvas and provides clear instructions on how to fix problems that it identifies.
Who is responsible for making courses accessible?
Faculty members will need to ensure that any course materials, whether they are posted on Canvas or otherwise, follow digital accessibility standards. The College will provide training and support to ensure that everyone has the tools and knowledge that they need to accomplish this goal.
