New for Fall 2026: Walk-In Tutoring on South Campus
Need writing support but don't have an appointment? Visit one of our South Campus satellite centers and work with a writing tutor on a walk-in basis.
Sunday: Nollen Basement, 3pm-5pm
Wednesday: Gregory Main, 6pm-8pm
Thursday: Roberts Main, 7pm-9pm
Your student ID will provide access to the residence hall during these hours.
We provide Lake Forest College students with tutoring and resources for every stage of the writing process. Our tutors are excited to colloborate with you on your writing. All of our services are free.
What We Offer:
- One-on-one tutoring sessions

- Free resources online and through a tutor
- Client-focused practice supporting writers at any level and any stage of the writing process
- Over a dozen trained student tutors with appointments available throughout the week
- Three types of appointments: weekly (standing), by appointment, and walk-in

Walk-in hours are Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5pm-6pm.
