This page is to provide training opportunities for students, faculty, and staff which is outlined below. However, if you would like the Title IX Office staff to present for your organization, department, or class please fill out the form above or reach out to us at TitleIX@lakeforest.edu. We schedule sessions throughout the academic year and during the summer by appointment.

Lake Forest College (LFC)  is committed to educating the campus community about sexual misconduct awareness and prevention as well as equity and gender discrimination. Students and employees must complete required training. They can also benefit from optional education and training.

Further outreach is performed by campus committees and task forces. These groups' duties include working to reduce sexual assault on campus, advocating for survivors and helping improve victim services and assiting the Title IX Office with ensuring equity for  both employees and students.

The college also works with community partners to provide comprehensive resources to students and employees.

Mandated Training

Employees and Student Employees

All Lake Forest College employees are considered responsible employees (RE) except for the Health and Wellness counseling staff members. This requires an annual training to be completed. Please access the employee training here.  You will receive notification via your Lake Forest College email from human resources for employees, and a notification from student services for students. Please open, review, and follow the directions to complete the self-paced training. Note: this training is different than the Mandated Reporter training under the Child Abuse and Neglect Act. 

Student Training

All Lake Forest College students must complete certain campus training. Returning students, new students and transfer students are required to complete online training, participate in new orientation sessions, and other designated trainings as identified by institutionPlease learn more about the training and how to access it here
