Campus Culture and Climate

Campus Culture and Climate

Campus Climate Surveys allow us to build a more inclusive environment throughout campus. They are made with the purpose of evaluating our progress over the years as an institution, and allow us to identify the students' perspectives and experiences with sex discrimination, gender-based equity, gender-based harassment and areas related to sexual misconduct on campus, as well as experiences with community, culture, and safety.

Campus Climate Survey 2022 - UPCOMING

The Campus Climate Surevy data has been shared with the campus community on Thursday, April 20 from 4-5pm in the Skybox of Mohr Student Center. The session was hosted by LaShun McGhee (Title IX Coordinator), Mary Grigar (Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Health & Wellness and co-chair of The Coalition), and Andrea Conner (VP Student Affairs and Dean of Students). The presentation highlighted some of the key data found through the survey.

The Lake Forest College community survey was open from April 4th to April 30th to assess the campus climate. This particular survey had a focus on sexual misconduct and gender-based violence and was coordinated by HEDS (Higher Education Data Sharing). The 2022 Survey was a coordinated effort of The Coalition Against Sexual Misconduct, the Title IX Office, and Institutional Research.
