Jill Mason Terzakis ‘88

Jill Mason Terzakis’s professional experience in public policy and public finance spans the private and public sectors. She has worked as a municipal bond analyst in investment banking and investment management at Nuveen, as a policy advisor to the President of the Civic Federation of Chicago, as the Assistant Commissioner of Special Financing at the City of Chicago Department of Housing, and as a consultant to private sector and governmental clients at the federal, state, and local levels.
Currently serving as the Program Director of Loyola University Chicago’s Master of Urban Affairs and Public Policy program, Ms. Terzakis teaches courses in public budgeting and finance, intergovernmental relations, and public policy. Ms. Terzakis has also taught courses at Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Chicago’s College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, and Lake Forest College, her alma mater.
Ms. Terzakis earned her BA in English Literature from Lake Forest College, MBA from DePaul University, and PhD ABD in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Urban Planning and Policy Affairs.
