Join us for the annual Rosemary Hale Lecture featuring Canice Prendergast, W. Allen Wallis Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
An Irish economist at the University of Chicago, Canice Prendergast earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in economics from Yale University. His research focuses on the economics of organizations and market design. Widely published, his work has appeared in the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, and Quarterly Journal of Economics. His research has helped improve food distribution for people experiencing poverty and optimize the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic.
