Parents: Think summer!
Summer session registration opens Tuesday, March 1.
With summer just around the corner, students are making plans for how to spend their time most effectively during the months between spring and fall semesters.
Many students take advantage of summer courses on campus. Lake Forest College’s Summer Session 2016 offers our top faculty instructors in a variety of courses that will allow students to make up credits they are missing or take a pre-requisite needed for a desired fall class.
Classes meet three hours a day, four days a week, either in the mornings or in the afternoons, leaving time to read and study, complete homework, and make the most of summer.
We offer three summer terms:
May Term: May 10 - June 3
June Term: June 6 - June 30
July Term: July 5 - July 29
Students can also take career-building internships during the summer. Lake Forest College’s summer internship programs comes with the support of the Career Advancement Center’s own career success team.
Summer Session tuition is $3,300 per course or internship. Each Lake Forest College course is equivalent to 4.0 semester hours.
First- and second-year Lake Forest College students behind on credits are eligible to take a course at $400, less per-credit than any other summer program in the Chicago region. Lake Forest College students are also eligible for a need-based financial grant. More questions? Contact Associate Dean of the Faculty Ann Roberts.
