On the economics of sports stadiums
A. B. Dick Professor of Economics Rob Baade was interviewed recently by the Chicago Tribune and the ABC News affiliate in Dallas for his opinion on the economics of sports stadiums.
The Chicago Tribune’s Jared Hopkins turned to Baade for his article, “Tax dollars still paying off renovations at White Sox stadium,” a critical look at Chicago’s U.S. Cellular Field that was published on May 23.
The ABC-News affiliate from Dallas sent a camera crew to Lake Forest on June 10 to interview Baade about his thoughts on a sports stadium currently under consideration in Texas. Baade was interviewed for about 30 minutes in Calvin Durand Hall. Click here to view the interview.
