Forester Families at Homecoming
Homecoming is the next great opportunity for parents and families to come back to campus after dropping off your student during move-in.
Homecoming kicks off on Thursday with our annual Oppenheimer Lecture, this year featuring Sherry Turkle, who will talk about her latest research on how people communicate in today’s tech-laden world.
Then on Friday, families are welcome to attend several events with their students, including campus and community tours, a parent social, fireworks, an outdoor movie, and more.
Saturday, parents and families of all ages can enjoy our traditional Homecoming events, including our homecoming parade, lively game-day festival featuring live music, food, and games, and, of course, football vs. Knox College. During halftime of the game, parents will be invited to a special reception with President Schutt in Halas Hall. Things generally wrap up by 6 p.m. on Saturday.
We hope you will join us. For event details and to register, go to www.lakeforest.edu/homecoming.
