This year was a key turning point in the struggle for civil rights, marked a new era of immigration reform, and represented the beginning of a new economic trend: rising social inequality and the concentration of wealth among a small elite. Our history faculty gave brief presentations on these three topics to consider the question: what has changed, and what has stayed the same, since 1968?
