Performed by EZ Learn Chinese School, the opera offered a wide range of historical repertoires that demonstrated traditional Chinese stories through colorful costumes. The stories ranged from a concubine deciding to sacrifice herself to help the Western King escape to the importance of a son carrying out his filial duty to his mother. 

The costumes of the performers resembled pieces of art from the great consideration put into design and color to fit each role. 

The event, held on February 28,2016 was sponsored by Lake Forest College in collaboration with Highland Park High School and EZ Learn Chinese School.
